hi, i'm back. over in the dj workshop, i branded myself a new nickname - FBI! my initials, go figure! okay to put it simply, you can ask about the workshop, it's really wonderful, but please dont ask about the recording. it sucked. terribly.

anyway, if you visit hafiz's blog at hiphop_nazi.blogspot.com/ and read his latest post on the twenty-sixth august, he says : 'I feel lye i'm part of a four; Mariana, Sabirah, Farhan and me.... '. and above that, there is a short excerpt from Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chosen, form the pages 645 and 646 which reads :

"She made it through.
Then she turned back around & joined the group.
The Four: Buffy, Giles, Willow & Xander.
Us. The Originals, Buffy thought. Everyone else came later. These are my comrades, my dearest friends. I am the Slayer that did not stand alone.

it set me thinking too. i know who my four are - nicholas, nasir, ryan and me. nick would be buffy, the main character, the hero. nasir would be xander. both are belo! haha, okok. nasir (and xander) is just simply charming in his special way. ryan would take the role of giles. they're both smart and knowledgeable. i would be willow then. the trusted friend of The Chosen One. the one who does bewitching stuff. haha. so, here's the question - who are your first four? or three?

i'll fill you in on the dj workshop but right now, i'm gonna investigate the files of The Bourne Supremacy! peace out.

interpreted

i began to turn and gaze over the site

as soon as i willed my body to move, i was a little surprised, though not unprepared, for what i would feel

a deeper part of me knows

with a knowing feeling, i contemplated with what i saw

the site was charred in various places

it reminds me of memories buried long ago

in the centre of the sunken arena, the remains of an altar stood, crumbling

the shattered marble scattered in a wide radius

dust settling as a blanket

and on top of the altar, was ash

a fire used to burn there, but no longer

i used to be afraid that the fire would diminish

however, in my previous visit, i killed the fire myself

with my bare hands, i destroyed the fire

now i return

without regret

no pain, no tugging guilt in my heart

in fact, i feel glad

calm

at rest

the demons at rest...
