As you might probably guess from yesterday's post, I've suddenly began another attempt in Starcraft. What got me initially was the storyline. I wanted to figure out the entire six episodes of the Starcraft story, and decided, power overwhelming, to enter in and have a bit of fun with the cheats.
What follows is that annoying headache(and its temporary cure) but i just got to realise that i like Starcraft again. Maybe it's creating hordes of Zerg and overrunning them lousy Protoss bases. or maybe it's just me and my feeling of uninspiredness. whatever it is, i'm enjoying it, and i'm playing it every so hour.
man. i still have those sociology quizzes.
oh, and i discovered a few things.
AI suck! i find it easy to take on a single Protoss AI opponent. worst part is, it's like they do not know where the resources are. i mean, they're quite concentrated in various parts of the map. dumb! haha. and another thing: they build too much, without securing their resources. too many buildings, too little troops. and on a last note, the predictable AI could be seen when them AI send single soldiers to tackle the opponent. hah!
one thing i learnt, is that you should just keep pumping the troops even though they're in small groups(AI made an error to send single soldiers instead). even if you take out one soldier or building, you've made an achievement which goes a long way. especially when you keep pumping your troops.
just tried a three-player match. one thing i realise is not to make the first cripple, but instead hope that the AI whack each other. then make your move one the weakened party. the first forty minutes, though i've had a Protoss opponent eliminated, i've got a Zerg army to deal with. and a quite powerful one to mention.
